Be You Canvas by Paula Whittaker

Supplies
Distress Paint – Picked Raspberry; Salty Ocean; Mustard Seed; Antique Linen
White Tissue Paper
Metal Key Embellishment - similar ones here

·       Paint the 4x4 canvas with the Salty Ocean Distress Paint, once dry; use the Mustard Seed paint but don’t completely cover the blue, just do some random strokes of the colour all over the canvas. Then ink one of the small Lynne Perrella images up, with the Picked Raspberry paint and stamp the sides and the front of the canvas with it.

·       Stamp one of the Lynne Perrella images on to some tissue paper using the black Stazon ink pad. Roughly paint the back with a thin coat of Antique Linen paint. Once dry, cover the back with an even layer of Mod Podge and place it on to the canvas; cover the top of the image with a layer of Mod Podge.

·       Once the Mod Podge is dry, colour the cheeks of the face, I used a ProMarker pen.

·       Add a mix of the Tim Holtz Remnant Rubs across the whole of the canvas.

·       Using an old plastic credit card take some black gesso and wipe it along all the edges,  also drag and wipe the gesso randomly in places over the sides and front of the canvas.

·       Give the whole canvas an even smooth coat of Mod Podge. Leave to dry.

·       Colour the Alpha Parts, Faucet and key with Distress paints and add to the canvas once dried.
