I’ve gone pink and girly this week for this mini hanging. I used a beer mat blank but you could use a Sheena Douglass Paint Fusion Mountboard Square and covered it with a Gelli Plate background.  You can now hardly see it for all the stamping over the top but the paints and stencils I used are listed above.

I stamped the various word stamps in Magenta, Paris Dusk, Sweet Plum and Aged Mahogany inks and edged the piece with the gold gilding wax and Carmine ProMarker. The Lynne Perrella face and Prima ticket were stamped on leftover pieces from the Gelli background. I also cut my flowers and leaves from the other Gelli printed scraps.

I coloured the mini heart frame with watercolour pencils, over-stamping with the Latin phrase from the PaperArtsy Vintage 02 plate.

Once I had glued everything in place and attached the flowers with the brad, I pierced holes for the ribbon with the aid if the holes in the design ruler and threaded the ribbon through from the back (the idea being that the knots would represent the stamens).
