Dragonfly Card by Mandy C

·       Stamp the dragonfly image twice. Using misters, pour a little bit into a palette and using a waterbrush make a colour wash over one of the dragonfly images.

·       Second image, colour with misters and a waterbrush. Cut out. Apply crackle glaze to the wings. Leave to set.  Edge the wings with the ProMarker.

·       Attach the cut out dragonfly , gluing the body down and using 3d foam on the wings.

·       Cut the image into a rectangle… I used the blueprint edges as a guide.

·       Edge with chalk ink.

·       I’ve attached this to a readymade background (made with spritzers), edge with chalk ink and then mount onto a colour that are similar to the wings of the dragonfly.

·       I cut a scalloped edge. Mount onto black card.

  1. Just gorgeous Mandy. Love the dragonfly and the inky backgrounds.
    Fliss xx

  2. It's beautiful, Mandy - such ethereal colouring to suit the stamp.
