Celebrate Art by Deborah

I’ve had Sam Poole’s fabulous Vintage Artist stamp set (Creative Expressions) for some time but never really made much use of it. Goodness knows why. Anyway I decided to make a triple ATC to celebrate making art.

First cut your ATC – 3.5 inches x 7.5 inches, scored and folded at 2.5 inch intervals. Use a bone folder for a good sharp crease. Choose a few of your favourite Distress Stains and splat them hard onto the card. You might have to go over them a second time to ensure a decent splat.

Then stamp the artist definition and other words straight onto the card using Jet Black Archival Ink. Stamp the palette, paint tubes and brushes onto a good stamping paper and colour with the Distress Stains using a small paintbrush. Glue to the ATC. Use the paint splodge stamps from the set and Distress Stains to over-stamp the background and also on the artist palettes.
