Zepplefish Poste Tag by Mandy C

What you will need:

Colorbox Fluid Chalk Cat's EyeInk Pad – Charcoal
Piece of ribbon that compliments the tag

What I did:

Cut a piece of white card to make a tag shape ~ mine is 7.5inches x 3inches.

Use the Cosmic Shimmer misting inks ~ I’ve used all six of these. Spray lightly in stripes to create the rainbow effect. (These inks are great, I was a tad sceptical about the cost of these small ink sprays but they are great and I’ve since treated myself to some more colours) Leave to dry.

Once dry, stamp the flower from HP1111 in Cactus Green onto the background on each side of the tag, then stamp the fish so they look like they are swimming in one direction using Saddle Brown.

Stamp the ‘fish balloon’ quite central onto the tag (use Archival black for this). Part of mine didn’t stamp well so I restamped onto some thick paper, cut out and then glued into place (it was the fish bit).

Stamp the cogs randomly with the black ink.

Stamp the ‘plenty more fish’ quote onto some card, cut out and place where you want it onto your tag.  Also stamp the words Zeppelfish Poste and Par Avion onto some spare card, cut out and adhere to your tag.

I used some watercolour pencils to match the white quotes/words into the tag itself.

Using white gel pen, highlight the main image.

Edge using the charcoal chalk ink.

Attach a ribbon of your choice.

  1. Loving your fabulous tag, x
