Pirate’s Life Postcard by Mandy C

A piece of 6 x 4” white card
Selection of Distress Ink Pads

Using black Archival ink stamp the Pirate stamp onto some white paper... I use 160gsm for stamping images to cut out.

Cut him out and colour with watercolours/any colouring medium you like to use, Leave to dry.

Take your postcard size white card, and using your craft mat and distress inks make a background you are happy with... I used colours that reminded me of an old map.

Once dry, use the Nautical Journey stamp set to create a background. I’ve used the map and the ship.

Position the pirate stamp onto the card and glue down.

Edge the card, firstly with gingerbread chalk ink and then the midnight black.

Draw around the edge of the card with a black fineliner.

Define the pirate stamp using the white gel pen on one side of him and some watercolour pencil on the other.

I’ve used the computer to print the words out in this case.
