The Trip Away by Alan Scott

This card was made using an IndigoBlu stamp called Wish You Were Here and a backing paper I designed. This is an easy project to put together.

Brass coloured backing card
A4 basic card made up
Round Edger tool (optional)
Embossing folder/embossing machine of choice

Now then, this is a very easy card to build. I have designed a backing paper for you that's available for downloading here. However, I'm sorry to say there are a few conditions for use. As I have used samples from a digi kit and I have not altered them, there could be issues for selling on the cards. So please can I ask that you use this paper for crafting projects that you're going to be giving away and not on any that you plan to sell.
Using the waxed paper, run it through an embossing machine using what ever embossing folder you have. I have made a short video here all about this product and how you can use waxed paper.
Using a good strong glue, secure the waxed paper onto the bronze coloured card and put to one side.
Using the stamp, ink up with the sepia ink and make an impression. A quick blast with a heat gun will fix the ink.
Use the edge punch, just clip the edges to make then round. Don't worry if you're missing a round edge punch, you can still make the card just leave them square.
Using the vintage Ink and blending tool, distress the edges. Again, a quick blast with the heat gun will fix the edges.
Mount onto the waxed card with a good strong clear glue. Allow to dry while we make the card base.
Print out the backing paper and secure onto the card base. Trim edges.
Now all that's left to do, is to secure our topper onto the card. There you have it - a quick card that has just enough technique to keep even the advanced crafter happy and the crafter just beginning one that's not a threat and puts them off.
Any questions please send me a message and I will do my best to help you.

Happy Crafting
