Alice in Wonderland ~ It’s your Birthday by Mandy C

What I used:

STAMPENDOUS! Perfectly Clear Stamp Set ~ Wonderland
  • First, take your white card and make a background with your Distress Stain and spritzers on your craft mat.... I’ve chosen to use turquoise colours (I think they go well with Alice).
  • Using the Distress Stain directly onto the craft mat, spray with water and then with the colour spritzers. Swoosh your card through the inks, the Picket Fence makes the spritzers quite chalky. If you have no patience (like me), dry with a heat tool. Spray through the mask and use some kitchen roll to pick up some of the colour. You want the background images muted.
  • On another piece of card, lay your clock die cut and spray with spritzers... if you do this you can make another background piece of card for future use.
  • Stamp Alice and the cat onto thin card, colour with watercolour pencils, leave to dry. Cut out.
  • Glue the clock onto the background you’ve made, cut around it.
  • Stamp the ‘a’ and the mini heart in the spaces inbetween the clock edges.
  • I’ve stamped some dotty images in Stazon Cactus Green over the background, just to give a bit of a contrast.
  • Arrange the stamped image of Alice and the cat where you want them on your clock. Then you can see where you want to stamp your sentiment.  Stamp the sentiment and then glue your images onto the clock. Stamp the fancy heart next to Alice.
  • Edge the clock with the VersaMagic Night Sky.
  • Glue to the round card.

  1. Alice works beautifully with the die cut clock face. Brilliant!

  2. I love "Alice" projects and this is beautiful
